Great Big Game Show

Play an hour-long mix of mini-games, inspired by classic TV game shows. No more shouting at the TV—now, you’re the contestant!
Two teams face off through a variety of game show mini-games. The studio features all the lights, sounds, and energy or a real TV game show production.

Parking: Free parking can be found at the mall on the East Side Ramp (Level P4, Mall level 3). MSP Airport offers Light Rail Transit from the airport to Mall of America. When the mall is closed, use the main entrance on the east side by Walgreens.

Cantina Laredo - Mall of America

We create authentic Mexican food inspired by the cuisine of Mexico City and add a modern twist. Imagine grilled fish, chicken or steak topped with one of a kind signature sauces like chipotle-wine and Portobello mushroom or sautéed artichoke heart and roasted red bell pepper. Rainforest Café

Part adventure, part restaurant, and wholly entertaining. The Rainforest Cafe is a A WILD PLACE TO EAT® and exciting thrill for all ages. Wild times await in a decorative jungle with animatronics and a menu of delicious American and tropical fare. Visitors can also hover over “Wild Bunch” attire and hundreds of private-label souvenirs at the Rainforest Cafe Retail Village, while Tracy the Talking Tree speaks up every 30 seconds with an earth-friendly message.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

Moose Mountain Adventure Golf is an 18-hole miniature golf course certain to provide a fun adventure for the entire family. The course features an original, whimsical design with an old-time north woods feel—complete with life size moose, horses and more!

Moose Mountain Adventure Golf also contains fun cartoon vehicles including a logging truck, steam time and bi-plane. Not only will this custom-crafted course be magical for all who play—it is also designed to be fully accessible—so everyone can enjoy the adventure!

Bakkenalia: Summer Camp

Join us as we enter our 50th year at our first Bakkenalia event of the season! Try camp-themed challenges, explore our blooming outdoor spaces, and try delicious samples of locally made beverages.

Celebrate MNHS Member Double Discount Days and satisfy your sweet tooth by joining Mill City Museum staff in the Baking Lab on Sunday, June 8, at 1 pm for a demonstration on how to make butterscotch brownies, as seen in Betty Crocker’s Cooky Book.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to Northrop with more dance The New York Times calls “transfixing, pulsating, and galvanizing.” Embarking on its next era under the leadership of new Artistic Director Alicia Graf Mack, the company remains guided as ever by Alvin Ailey’s pioneering legacy. Audiences will be treated to classic works from the Ailey repertory that have inspired and uplifted fans for decades—including the touchstone of inspiration Revelations, the ultimate anthem to resilience and joy.

Waltz For Debbie: A Juneteenth Tribute to Debbie Duncan

Debbie Duncan was one of the greatest jazz vocalists in the Twin Cities. She performed with many local and national acts. The Wolverines Jazz Quartet, featuring Rick Carlson, Jendeen Forberg, and Steve Pikal, leads this tribute to the legendary Ms. Duncan. Also, featured vocalists Judi Vinar and Dennis Spears will share songs and stories.

Did you know Thomas turns 80 this year? Reverend Wilbert Awdry published his first book "The Three Railway Series" in 1945!

We will be celebrating Thomas and his friends all weekend during regular hours (Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5). We hope you come also celebrate everyone's favorite blue engine!
