Land of the Loon Festival

Join us for the 47th Annual Land of the Loon Ethnic Arts and Crafts Festival June 21-22, 2025!

Parade starts Saturday at 9:00 AM down the 100 Block of Chestnut Street, turning right on Fifth Avenue and ending at 8th Street. Then, stop by beautiful Olcott Park in Virginia, MN and enjoy a variety of delicious foods with our food vendors and shop arts and craft booths with so many things to offer.

Live entertainment all day at the bandstand! There is also a dedicated children’s area with activities.

Lakes Bluegrass Festival

The Lakes Bluegrass Festival presents nationally known, regional, and local bluegrass bands, that provide over 40 hours of professional main stage entertainment, hands-on workshops, jam sessions, a dance and more during a five-day musical event in picturesque Pine River, Minnesota. The event is hosted and sponsored by the Pine River Area Foundation (PRAF) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

La Dolce Riva Summer Party

Kick-start summer in the Twin Cities with La Dolce Riva Summer Party featuring delicious sips and bites, live art and entertainment, pool activations, and surprise and delight moments all afternoon. Attendees receive a complimentary welcome beverage & Coastal Italian-inspired bites, with more food and drinks available for purchase. The event is free to attend and open to the public. Riva Terrace will be offering a specialty cocktail for purchase to support non-profit, The Aliveness Project.

It features Tony Award-winning book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire (Shrek), a Tony Award-winning score by Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home), choreography by Danny Mefford (Dear Evan Hansen), and direction by Tony-nominated director Jessica Stone (Water for Elephants).

From their dynamic stage presence to their meticulous attention to detail, this high-energy tribute act channels the legendary Freddie Mercury and Queen’s larger-than-life sound like no other.

Keyon Harrold

Award-winning trumpeter, vocalist, songwriter, and producer Keyon Harrold is touring in support of Grammy-nominated recording, 2024’s Foreverland. This crossover album features a bevy of collaborators. These include British R&B vocalist Laura Mvula, emerging young singer Malaya, Common, Robert Glasper and PJ Morton.

Karl Ove Knausgård & Glenn Kotche: Historia Film by Johan Renck

Writer Karl Ove Knausgård (My Struggle, The Morning Star) and composer/percussionist Glenn Kotche (Wilco) unite for an immersive afternoon of words and music that celebrates collaboration, craft, and friendship. With visuals by director Johan Renck (HBO's Chernobyl, David Bowie's Blackstar), the program features the premiere of a new work that weaves together Knausgård's textual prowess and Kotche's sonic explorations. Readings and performances of both new and familiar pieces from each collaborator provide deeper context.
