Fire and Ice Festival

Celebrate Redwood Falls invites you to come and have a blast on Lake Redwood on Saturday, February 7 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Fire & Ice Festival! Enjoy free activities and food for all ages! Bring your skates to enjoy the ice on a rink or follow the cleared trail upriver. Pick up your hot dog, s’mores kit and hot beverage and gather round one of the many bonfires. Get in on mini golf, broom ball, bean bag, Bobski racing (chairs on skis) and other games. Take a walk along the Tiki Torch Trail or jump in line at the Cornerstone Church sled rides to explore more of the Redwood River.

2025 SLCHS Native American Heritage Day

The St. Louis County Historical Society (SLCHS), under the guidance of the SLCHS American Indian Advisory Committee, is proud to announce its annual Native American Heritage Day from 11AM to 3PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the St. Louis County Depot (506 W Michigan St, Duluth, MN 55802). The event is free and open to the public.

Join the History Center of Olmsted County at Mayowood for a costumed interpretation of a Mayowood Christmas tradition, the Fellows Christmas Chorus hosted by Dr. Chuck and Alice Mayo. Guests will step back in time to the Christmas season of 1951, where the carolers have just finished their rounds through the city of Rochester, singing traditional Christmas carols on a crisp December evening. Now, you’re invited inside Mayowood, the festive home of Dr. Chuck and Alice Mayo where you’ll be greeted by one of these carolers who will guide you through the house.

The St. Paul Ice Fishing Show, presented by Clam, is the largest and ultimate ice fishing event in the nation. The event is the official kick off to winter in the upper Midwest, with hard core fishing and winter sports enthusiasts making their annual pilgrimage to Saint Paul RiverCentre. During the three-day extravaganza, attendees will shop more that 190 exhibits, taking their pick of fish houses, augers, underwater cameras, rods and reels, apparel & more.
