Through the years, Mayo has often been in the headlines for important medical discoveries—and has also popped up in movies, TV shows and social media in a unique blending of fact, fiction and fun. Log Run Half Marathon

The Log Run Half Marathon, 10 Mile, 10K and 5K race originated back in 1997. A superb, mostly downhill race gently descending into historic Stillwater, Minnesota, it's been known as one of the fastest courses around. Runners have set personal records on this course since the very beginning. The scenic route brings runners into historic downtown Stillwater from the north passing parks and farms on rural roads with bluff views along the way showcasing the Federally protected St. Croix River and surrounding valley.

The Gospel According to St. Mark

Since Tom Stolz first performed his moving recitation of The Gospel According to St. Mark in 1984 at the Old Log Theatre, it has become a favorite Lenten season tradition with Twin Cities’ audiences. St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon

The St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon, 10K and 5K starts in western Wisconsin and ends in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota – one of America’s most scenic small towns. This diverse course includes scenic tree-lined roads, picturesque farms, the beautiful Loop Trail between Minnesota and Wisconsin and crosses the St. Croix River over the St. Croix Crossing bridge. Lift Bridge Road Races

The Lift Bridge Road Race is based at Lift Bridge Brewing Company in Stillwater – the event’s title sponsor. The half, 10-mile, 10K and 5K courses show off the best of residential Stillwater, its scenic lakes, paved trails and historic Victorian mansions. All distances share a common finish at the brewery’s Tower Drive location. The finish is a festive atmosphere at the brewery to celebrate together.
