Snowshoe Tours

Join us this winter to experience Historic Fort Snelling in a new way–on snowshoes! Our snowshoe tour follows in the footsteps of famous fur trader Martin McLeod as he travels over 300 miles on snowshoes to reach Fort Snelling.

You’ll meet your guide for a short presentation on historical content and snowshoe safety, then you’ll head outside to learn more about McLeod’s journey. Warm up with a free hot beverage at the end of your tour.
