LADAMA is an ensemble of women from across the Americas who produce and perform original work while engaging youth in the act of music-making. With rhythm and percussion driving their original compositions, they sing in Spanish, Portuguese and English they combine disparate, traditional roots music with pop. The result is a sonic experience through which we can view our future as a world that communicates across continents and cultures, with sound and story.

Fourth of July fireworks are back! Pack up the lawn chairs and come to M Health Fairview Sports Center for Woodbury’s annual hometown celebration. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with outdoor concessions and food trucks. Families can bring a football or a Frisbee and enjoy the evening on some green space or play at Madison’s Place playground and the free outdoor splash pad (open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.). The fireworks display kicks off at 10 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, and bring their own seating and blankets. Enjoy the 4th of July Hometown Celebration!
Farming of Yesteryear's Hog Roast is the perfect family event. Starting at 2pm will be demonstrations including the sawmill and blacksmith shop. You can also join in celebrating the couples renewing their vows in the Lime Creek Church starting at 3:30. In addition you can enjoy horse drawn carriage rides, barrel train rides, and Grandma Mary's playground. From 5-7 we will be serving a free pulled pork meal that the whole family can enjoy. End the night with an outdoor movie and bonfire!
