One of new wave's most innovative and successful bands, DEVO, was also perhaps one of its most misunderstood. Formed in Akron, OH, in 1973 by Kent State art students Gerald Casale and Mark Mothersbaugh, DEVO took its name from their concept of "de-evolution" - the idea that instead of evolving, mankind has actually regressed, as evidenced by the dysfunction and herd mentality of American society.

Enjoy an evening learning how to identify, interpret and record different wolf behaviors before observing the Exhibit Pack's weekly carcass feeding. Then spend the night camped out in the Center’s auditorium and see if the pack’s behavior changes after nightfall!

Bring the whole family together for a fun-filled, wolf-themed weekend at the International Wolf Center! Enjoy private lessons on wolf ecology and guided hikes through the beautiful Superior National Forest. Participate in wolf-themed activities and observe our ambassador wolves in action. Then, attend our What’s for Dinner? program to observe our wolves feeding before you spend the night in the auditorium.
Activities and learning will take place both indoors and outdoors. Please be prepared with appropriate clothing for both.
