Join us for a 3-mile round-trip adventure to the historic Glen Location, where our expert guides will lead the way, sharing fascinating stories and pointing out local history and nature along the trail. Afterward, we’ll cozy up around a crackling bonfire at the Thompson Homestead to enjoy hot cocoa and roast the perfect s’mores.

The fun continues with Entertainment from King of the Road at the Hydeaway starting at 9pm.

Now in its 6th season at Canterbury Park, winter horse racing returns with a unique twist. This thrilling event consists of, horses and riders in stock saddles race down the snowy track, pulling skiers through a challenging course of gates, obstacles, and jumps. Over 100 teams from across the country will compete over two days, racing against the clock to secure a spot in the finals.

In 1961 Bob Rauenhorst, a key figure from Trojan Seed Company, and the origination point for the city's legacy as the Corn Capital of Minnesota, declared Renville County the best at raising corn and proposed a parade called Corn Capital Days to celebrate it.
