Yet, some topics are always going to be hard to talk about. His latest album, 2021’s Elephant in the Room, is about facing those things head on.

Hill’s music encompasses contemporary and classic jazz, hip-hop, R&B, Chicago house and neo-soul. “It all comes from the same tree,” he says. “They simply blossomed from different branches.”
