Lantern Light Event

Please join us for the annual Lantern Light Event at Itasca State Park! Bundle up to walk, snowshoe, or ski at your leisure as the glow of lanterns and starlight guide your way through towering pines. The total length of this out-and-back trail is 3.5 miles following the South Entrance Road. It is a well-defined path with minimal elevation change. Adjust the distance to suit your fitness level. There will be a campfire crackling at the trailhead to warm-up or roast your favorite campfire snack. Gather inside the Jacob V.

This one of a kind show is not just a comedy dating show but somewhat of a social experiment. We have first dates take place on stage while a panel of quick witted, hilarious comedians use observational humor and unexpected punchlines to riff on their first dates.

Dark Sky Festival

Join the city of Ely in the Ely Dark Sky Festival Friday January 10-11. Learn about dark skies and their importance with classes, trivia, dog sledding and hikes; and join partners Starry Skies North in their programs. Take a closer look at the dark skies through telescopes while listening to star stories; watch the acclaimed Northern Nights, Starry Skies screening; and join Starry Skies North president Todd Burlet for a presentation about light pollution and the benefits of embracing astrotourism.

The Belfast Cowboys

The Belfast Cowboys is a nine-piece, horn-driven band from Minneapolis that specializes in the music of Van Morrison. Entering their third decade, they are adept at mixing rock, blues, roots and soul sounds. Led by veteran songwriter/guitarist Terry Walsh, the Cowboys have flourished in the renowned Minnesota music scene. They have consistently packed houses and wowed crowds since 2002. Terry Walsh got his start playing in various Twin Cities rock bands.

Artistry’s 2025 season will feature four musicals, including the “Greatest Movie Musical of All Time”, Singin’ In the Rain. This classic, entertaining show is based on the original MGM film, and includes the same unforgettable scenes, songs, and dances.

Once on This Island

Artistry’s 2025 season will feature four musicals, including the Tony-winning Once on This Island. The upbeat, original show tells the rousing tale of a small girl who finds love in a world of prejudice.
