New Eyes Festival

Celebrate Asian American voices with the NEW EYES FESTIVAL! The play-reading series has been around since 1993 as an incubator for new works, and this year we leveled the playing field even more by accepting script submissions from across the country. After reading through 80+ scripts and holding many literary committee meetings, we're excited to present this trio of stories: MAYBE YOU COULD LOVE ME by Samah Meghjee, FIFTY BOXES OF EARTH by Ankita Raturi, and GRANDMOTHER/BATHTUB by Brian Dang.

LA Buckner & BiG HOMiE

Arthur “L.A.” Buckner is one of the Twin Cities’ most creative drummers. He also took iTunes by storm with the release of his project BiG HOMiE. Here, his August 2020 release reached Number One on the iTunes jazz charts within twenty-four hours.

HALEY

HALEY has spent the last 20 years writing, producing, and performing her own music. Her early work reflected a more stripped down, moody folk music with a hint of country. Over the years, her sound has grown into its own unique blend of rock, American folk, and New Wave.
