It’s a not-to-be-missed cornucopia of Christmas conviviality, the familiar and the fresh, the fond and the frivolous. Featuring singers extraordinaire Mary Jane Alm, Aimée Lee and Boyd Lee, Prairie Home Companion regulars Richard Kriehn, Gary Raynor, Joe Savage and Peter Johnson, plus special guest, Grammy Award-winning singer/guitarist Pat Donohue.

Cheese, Wine and Beer Gala

The Image Committee is excited to announce the ever-popular Cheese, Wine and Beer Gala has returned! It will be held on Saturday, June 1st from 2-5 pm. This year’s event will be hosted at a new venue, nestled in a beautiful vineyard, amidst apple trees and natural beauty. It will take place on the grounds of South by Southeast Brewery, located at 51146 US Hwy 52, Pine Island.

The 2024 Gala promises to be even better with additional space for guests and vendors, and plenty of parking.

Celtic Holiday Hooley

Returning by popular demand is Celtic Holiday Hooley! Come for some warm-fuzzies and holiday family fun! This hosted variety show is a party for all ages with Irish music, stories, sketches, step dance, caroling and more. Beyond that, it’s wacky good fun for everyone with brief guest appearances from well-known holiday characters including The Grinch and yes, even Santa Claus! Presented by the O’Shea Irish Dancers (who appeared at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in sold-out performances of Kickin’ It Irish). Choreography and music by original Riverdancer, Cormac O’Sé, of Dublin.

Blaine World Fest

This event is a great opportunityfor the city to recognize and share its growing cultural and ethnic diversity. Anoka Food Truck Festival

Free event featuring 50+ food trucks, live music & beer!The eighth annual Anoka Food Truck Festival is back in downtown Anoka on Saturday, August 17th.
With hours from 11AM – 9PM you’ll be able to sample food truck delicacies all day long.
More than 50 food trucks will be selling their unique street eats with global cuisines ranging from Maine lobster rolls to shrimp tacos, smoked ribs, gyros & even fro-yo! Food trucks will line up on Jackson Street between 1st and 3rd Avenues (right near city hall).

Ag Education Day

Join us for the first Ag Education Day at the Children‘s Museum of Southern Minnesota. This is a free and fun filled day to get up close and hands-on with the Agriculture industry! Learn about the progress of a soybean or kernel of corn from seed to the meat found in grocery coolers and all of the steps along the way. Many Greater Mankato Businesses will be represented along with BIG equipment from each step of the process.
