Calling all fiber art and textile artists! This November and December, Textile Center is expanding our shop into a winter shopping wonderland, and we want your work to be a part of it! Doubling the size of our year-round shop, this is a unique time of year when our shop can feature many more artists and their work, with items ranging from handmade mittens, ornaments, garments, and home goods to jewelry, wall art, and more — perfect for thoughtful gift-giving.

Statewide Star Party at the Bell!

Join us for our next in-person Star Party—the Statewide Star Party! Outside, we’ll have our telescopes set up to observe our favorite deep space objects (weather permitting). Inside, you can explore hands-on activities, and our expert astronomy team will guide you through the night sky and highlight cosmic sights in our planetarium.

Heros of the Fourth Turning

Set in a small town in Wyoming, the play takes place over the course of one night, bringing together four young conservatives at a backyard gathering celebrating the appointment of their former professor, Gina, as the new president of a Catholic college. Prepare to be dazzled by quick changes, hilarious improvisations and unexpected twists on classic tales. Whether you're a die-hard Bard aficionado or a Shakespeare newbie, this show is must-see. 

A Streetcar Names Desire

Step into the steamy streets of New Orleans and experience one of the greatest plays of the 20th century. The unforgettable characters, including the fragile yet fiercely determines Blanche DuBois, the brutish yet magnetic Stanely Kowalski, and the fragile but hopeful Stella transport you back in time in a play that unfolds with gripping intensity, exploring themes of loves, loss, and the brutal clash of dreams.

Spring Dance Concert

Witness the artistry and dedication of the dance faculty, guest artists, and students through original choreography and the culminations of an entire semester's worth of work. Multiple dance styles will be presented that range from contemporary modern, to ballet, to urban dance. 

Lend Me a Soprano

In this riotous romp, the Cleveland Grand Opera Company is in a frenzy as they prepare for a monumental performance featuring the legendary soprano. Maria Merelli. But Maria goes missing and chaos ensues, the stage is set for a comedy of errors like no other. With mistaken identities, frantic cover-ups, and a cavalcade of quirky characters. Lend Me a Soprano hits all the right notes and keeps you laughing. 

Fall Dance Concert

Join us at the Dance Concerts as part of your seasonal subscription. Held at Minnesota State University's Theatre located on campus. December 5th through the 7th, 2024. 

Escape Alone

This compelling play invites audiences into the lives of four older women who convene in a suburban garden to share tea, gossip, and anecdotes. Amidst their seemingly mundane discussions about gardening, television shows, and personal reminiscences, deeper themes of isolation, existential dread, and the fragility of human existence. 

Constellations

Constellations examines the notion of multiverse theory suggesting that every choice made by the characters spans parallel universes with alternate outcomes. This non-linear narrative lets us witness the various ways in which Marianne and Roland's relationship could unfold, from chance encounters to pivotal moments of connection and separation and invites the audience to consider their own paths.
