Four days a year, the Minnesota Historical Society will provide FREE admission to its historic sites and museums! Take this opportunity to learn more about our state's history, at no cost to you.

Free admission dates for the 2024 - 2025 season:

Grape Stomp at Schram Vineyards

Let's get juicy! Schram Vineyards is pleased to be hosting our 3rd annual Grape Stomp event on Sunday, September 8th! Teams of 2 can register to compete in the stomping of the grapes and general attendees can cheer them on while enjoying the beautiful wine country. The winning team for each heat wins a bottle of wine! We'll have opportunities to try grape harvesting right off the vines and casual grape stomping pools for both little and big feet!

Theatre Elision presents: PENELOPE

We've all heard the tale of Odysseus and his many adventures as he returns home from the Trojan War. But what about his wife back on Ithaca? Penelope tells the story of the wife who waits, told by one woman behind the piano through humor, bitterness, hope, and tenderness It is a musical love letter to all those who wait: For someone they love. For something they believe in. And hope that the wait will end well.

Ragamala Dance Company: Children of Dharma

Described as “soulful, imaginative, and rhythmically contagious” by The New York Times, Ragamala Dance Company presents the world premiere of Children of Dharma, a Northrop Centennial Commission. In this seamless blend of mesmerizing Bharatanatyam choreography, original music, and lush visuals, creators Aparna, Ranee, and Ashwini Ramaswamy take inspiration from Keerthik Sashidharan’s novel The Dharma Forest—a re-envisioning of the Indian/global epic The Mahabharata.

Beer Garden at Great Lakes Aquarium

Weekly on Thursdays (July 11 – August 29) 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Enjoy the summer at Great Lakes Aquarium! Join us every week for al fresco food and beverages on the Duluth Harbor featuring $5 Earth Rider Brewery beers, wine, and local non-alcoholic options, weekly performances by the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, and a rotating selection of food trucks. Maple Grove Juneteenth Celebration

Maple Grove Parks and Recreation will be hosting the
annual Juneteenth Celebration. This free event will feature a vendor fair, food trucks, kids activities and entertainment on the stage.
Entertainment will include:
• Pan Dimensions (4:45 p.m.) - Steel pan music from the Caribbean
• Dorborwulu Cooper (5:45 p.m.) - Local hip hop artist
• Step with Soul (6:30 p.m.) - Step dance group
• Spoken word poetry (6:45 p.m.)
