Compassionate Action for Animals

Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA) is a nonprofit organization with a small staff and over 200 volunteers. Our mission is to encourage people to embrace their empathy for farmed animals and move toward a plant-based diet. We do this through increasing awareness of farmed animal suffering, building community with plant-based eating, and nurturing advocates in the Twin Cities region.

All money raised supports our mission of rescuing and rehoming Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes. All dogs (and people) welcome! Activities include a Walk for Rescue, Vendor Village, food trucks, lure course, dog play areas, silent auction, wine pull, and lots of fun and games for dogs and humans alike.
