Youth Outdoor Activity Day

Youth Outdoor Activity Day is a FREE family-friendly event intended to provide youth a fun environment in which to learn about outdoor recreation. There are over 45 hands-on activities including trap shooting, mounting biking, outdoor cooking, archery, rock wall climbing, trout pond, ATV rides & safety and many other related skills. Many activities offer take-home gear to encourage continued participation. All kids receive an event t-shirt and the entire family receives lunch and ice cream!

Loons & Lakes Festival

Join the National Loon Center in celebrating Minnesota’s treasured loons and lakes with a weekend of recreation and education in the second annual Minnesota Loons & Lakes Festival in Crosslake! In addition to enjoying a Loon Fair featuring more than 30 organizations and small businesses, visitors can expect live music, food trucks, presentations, guided paddles, loon pontoon tours and more!

Chunky Game Day

In this program visitors will get a chance to play the game of chunky, a sport enjoyed by the people of Americas’ first cities 1,000 years ago.

Chunky is a game that involves rolling discs across the ground and throwing spears as close to the disc's resting point as possible. It's a great game to play out under the summer skies and on the summer grasses!

Carters' Fall Festival

Carters' is the place to be for fall family fun! Enjoy an autumn day at the farm by exploring our giant, themed corn maze, themed-wagon ride theater drama, live musical and magic performances, as well as many autumn-themed games and activities. Also, don't forget to pick up a pumpkin or two, ornamentals, and try delicious food from our local vendors. Carters' is the place to be with family and friends by creating cherished memories.
