Red, Hot & Boom! - Mankato

On July 4, view the Red, Hot & Boom fireworks display from the Minnesota State University Mankato Athletic Fields (191 Stadium Road). Fireworks will begin around 10 p.m. Choreographed music can be heard on FM stations 93.1 (KATO), 94.1 (KXLP) and 96.7 (KDOG).

Young People's Concert: Musical Wonders of the World

Please Note: April 9 & 10 performances are aimed for students grades 1-6, see details.
Music can come from many things – from instruments to voices and from the wind to the birds, music is made all around us. This program will feature music inspired by the unique ecosystems and topographies around the world. Through music we will walk the plains in Asia, sail through the stormy seas and marvel at the Grand Canyon.

Pine County Fair

The Greater MN Get-Together will be held in Pine City from Wednesday, July 31 through Sunday, August 4, 2024

Pine County Free Gate Fair -- located in Pine City, MN

Enjoy 5 days of County Fair events that are sure to satisfy visitors of all ages! Grandstand events featured include the famous Demolition Derby on both Friday and Saturday nights. Other events include a Truck Pull, Tractor Pull and the Pine County Talent Contest.

The Pine County Fair also features music groups on the Bandshell Stage and Event Center Stage with performances throughout the weekend.

Gentle Yoga in the Gallery

Yoga in the Gallery is BACK!! Join Frances Carroll for a mix of meditations, a variety of yoga postures, all paired with breath. Each class encourages balance of mind, body, and spirit.

All levels are welcome. Bring your own mat or towel.

$8 per class or 5 Class punch pass for $25.

Oktoberfest, Bier on Belgrade

Bier on Belgrade is North Mankato’s version an Oktoberfest and German heritage fun.

You will have a day of activities, food vendors, live music, Bier samplings from local and world renown brewery’s, ceremonial first beer with City Officials, bean bag toss and kegs.

This is a FREE event! Must be 21 years of age to attend.

NEMAA Presents Art-A-Whirl

Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country, which happens annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis the third weekend of May.

Over 1,200 NEMAA member artists, galleries, and businesses participate across all of Northeast Minneapolis at nearly 70 locations. Art-A-Whirl is a fantastic way to connect with artists in their own spaces, enjoy demonstrations and interactive activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local restaurants and breweries. Art-A-Whirl is free and open to the public.
