Valleyfair's fireworks show is back and bigger than ever, and now you can celebrate bigger with Grand Carnivale, too! Bring the whole family to the park to enjoy a day spent on all your favorite thrills, cool off in Soak City Waterpark, party away with Grand Carnivale, and then cap off the night with a fireworks display to celebrate America's birthday!

An Evening of Baroque Music with The Garland City Consort

The Garland City Consort- Chequamagon Bay's Chamber Orchestra- will be playing "An Evening of Baroque Music". Please join us for this special treat! Performing is the Garland City Consort, a cooperatively-owned Baroque chamber orchestra, based out of Ashland, Wisconsin, "the Garland City of the North". Founded in 2016 and performing actively ever since, the Consort celebrates Baroque music with a unique twist. From the obscure to the familiar, you will experience the Old Style with new energy.

Dino Hideout

There’s big fun lurking at the Minnesota Zoo. Explore our updated Dino Hideout experience and play area featuring 12 animatronic dinosaurs. Take a thrilling walk among incredibly realistic dinosaurs and enjoy the natural setting and new play structures as you let your imagination run wild.  Dino Hideout is included with zoo admission and is open only during warm weather months.

The Cottage Grove Farmers Market runs every Thursday from June 22 through October 12 between 2:30-6:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the United Church of Christ.

How to Survive on the Prehistoric Prairie

Learn how the prehistoric people of the Upper Midwest adapted and survived through the millennia! Visitors will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the artifacts that typify their important cultural transformations. The program will run from 1-3pm and is included with regular site admission.
