Minnesota Aurora FC

Minnesota Aurora is a Pre-Professional Women's soccer team, who began play in the USL W League in May 2022. They went 11-0-1 in their first year, going undefeated in regular season play. They took 2nd place in the USL W League Championship. The team is women-led and community-owned.

Being community-owned means that fans have stakes in the team. 3080 people invested during our overwhelming community investment campaign. Community Owners elect members to serve on the board and are a part of major decision-making throughout the year.

Bluff Country Retreat - Bunk House

Bluff Country Retreat has a Bunk House available for larger groups who rent the house and want more space, couples, couples with up to 2 children, or other groups of up to 4 guests. The Bunk House has a log framed queen bed, a twin bed, and a pullout couch with a twin mattress, a kitchenette, bath / shower, TV / Blue Ray, A/C, a gas fireplace (winter only), fire ring (wood provided), a charcoal grill, and a washer / dryer (please let us know if you plan to use).

He Mni Can/Barn Bluff Regional Park

He Mni Can-Barn Bluff is one of the best-known natural features along the upper Mississippi River. It is significant for its geology and its association with prehistoric and native peoples, as well as the exploration of the upper Mississippi region of the early nineteenth century.  From the mid-nineteenth century to the present, it has been a location for travel, industry, tourism, and recreation. A many-layered interpretation of the feature is evident in local legend, as well as in published historical and scientific accounts, works of art, and photography.

Terrace Oaks East

Terrace Oaks East is a 4-acre, neighborhood park located on the south side of Burnsville Parkway, 1/2 mile east of County Road 11. Terrace Oaks East has several trails for walking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and more!

Montgomery May Day Committee

Montgomery proudly announces the return of its Czech May Day. Sunday, May 1, noon - 5 p.m. in Heritage Park. Performances by the St Paul Czech and Sokol Folk Dancers and their youth groups. At approximately 1:45 p.m. program begins with history of May Day and the traditional raising of the May Pole with ribbon dances. Music by the Czech Area Concertina Club. Miss Czech-Slovak MN Pageant Committee on hand with their famous pork, dumpling & kraut meal.  Czech hot dog stand and Czech bakery. Cash bar with Czech Pivo (beer) provided by the Montgomery Brewing Co.

Twin Cities Jazz Festival

This summer, Saint Paul, Minnesota’s Mears Park will come alive with the sounds of jazz. The Twin Cities Jazz Festival presented by AARP Minnesota is returning to the popular Lowertown arts district for two days: Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21, 2025.

The Twin Cities Jazz Festival, established in 1999, is a non-profit organization, with a mission to keep the art form of jazz alive and well in our community.
