Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center

Wolf Ridge is a place where minds open to the joy and wonder of discovery of our natural world. 
We seek to stimulate a love and understanding of nature by involving children and adults in direct observation of and participation in outdoor, naturalist-guided activities and adventures. Our programs promote self-awareness, personal growth, and leadership development in the process. Founded in 1971, Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center is recognized nationally and internationally as a leader in environmental education.

Wolf Lake Multi-Purpose Trail System

The trail system offers 10 kilometers of single track skiing with limited skating opportunity (1.5 k skating), hiking, biking, & horseback riding. The terrain is level to hilly with easy, moderate and difficult loops offering challenges to most skiers. The forest is a mixture of hardwoods and mature red and white pine(100+ years old). A shelter is along trail. Maps are at each intersection and trail head parking.

Wm. S. Marvin Training and Visitor Center

Experience the history of Marvin Windows and Doors. The exhibits include a combination of artifacts and interactive presentations that create a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.

Wintermoon Summersun Adventures for Women

An environmentally friendly women's adventure retreat lodge featuring dogsledding and sea kayaking in northeastern MN. A 400 acre Finnish homestead with log cabins, sauna, solar power, hand pump for well water, organic meals and wildlife, birds and quiet. The goal of our mushing and kayaking week ends is to teach and practice outdoor skills in a rejuvenating, fun and supportive atmosphere.

Wintergreen Dogsled Lodge

Since 1987, Wintergreen has provided lodge-based dog sledding vacations and dogsled camping trips. Mush your own team of our friendly Canadian Eskimo dogs on beautiful northwoods trails with training by our expert guides. Lovely lakeshore lodging & fine meals by our house chef.
