Lorrie Morgan

She is undeniably one of the most eloquently emotive vocalists of modern times, and Lorrie Morgan is set to perform at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota on Friday, July 7, 2023.

Lorrie Morgan, the first woman in her genre to begin her career with three consecutive Platinum albums, is back in the studio with award-winning producer Richard Landis, working on a new album. It is sure to be yet another collection showcasing the rainbow of emotions, from darkest heartache to bright, shiny humor, that is the hallmark of Morgan’s range.

Landscape Photography features the photographs of Marc Ye. Ye captures nature imagery and aims to create an emotional response in the viewer. There will be an opening reception for Landscape Photography on Thursday, March 2 from 6-8 P.M.

Picture a winter woodlands landscape–an image of snow and trees and not much else probably comes to mind. From afar, winter woodlands may seem muted and lifeless compared to the hustle and bustle of wildlife in spring and summer. But with the knowledge of what to search for, even a simple stroll through the woods can peel back that quiet facade and uncover a hidden world of animals surviving the winter. The Northwoods is teeming with live year-round, so come explore our 780+ acre campus as winter changes into spring!

Interpretive Program: An Animal's Guide to Surviving the Winter

Do bears really sleep all winter long? How do frogs survive the cold? What do the animals that call Minnesota home do instead of cozying up next to a fire?

Learn about what our animal neighbors’ strategies are for overwintering, and clear up some misconceptions about who does what to survive our long and cold winters! We will go on a guided hike around our 780+ acre campus of rich and varied habitats. Come explore all the Northwoods have to offer during the winter!

Hyper Memory

Hyper Memory features works from artists Roshan Ganu, Chris Rackley, and John Swartwout. The exhibit combines technological and hand-made methods to explore memory and perception. There will be a free opening reception for the exhibit on Friday, February 24 from 6-8 P.M.
