Saxophone and Piano Duo

Rochester Chamber Music Society presents Saxophone and Piano Duo on Saturday, October 18, 7:30 pm, at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester.

This concert features celebrated jazz saxophonist Steve Cole and pianist Ora Itkin, who graduated from the Russian Academy of Music in Moscow and Jerusalem’s Rubin Academy of Music. They will perform a program of music by Schnittke, Glazunov, Debussy, Ravel, and Brahms.

"Lost Mountain" by Kit Wilson

Groveland Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of paintings by Minneapolis artist, Kit Wilson. A full-time artist, Wilson began exhibiting at Groveland Gallery in 2002. Lost Mountain will consist of 20 paintings of Lake Superior’s North Shore. Wilson contemplates Superior’s shifting characteristics from a single vantage point, documenting the lake’s surface and changes in light and season.
