Pine Point Regional Park

Pine Point Park is a peaceful nature area with pine forests, lakes and marshes. It is a great place for hiking, bird watching, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing on some of the finest trails in the Metropolitan Area. The park serves as one of the major trailheads to the Gateway State Trail.

Pine Island Area Chamber of Commerce

Pine Island is located in southeast Minnesota along the beautiful banks of the Middle Fork of the Zumbro River and was given its name by the American Indian term Wa-zu-wee-ta which translates to Island of Pines.
