A regional history museum of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting for this area. We have extraordinary artifacts, beautiful displays, and engaging exhibits - all telling the story of scouting for the upper Midwest. Innovative programs, opportunities for community service and leadership workshops make us a community anchor providing enrichment for families in our community!

North Star Lake Resort

North Star Lake Resort is located in the Chippewa National Forest. We offer 19 deluxe 1-5 bedroom cabins with decks, grills, micros & A/C. Two swimming pools. The lodge has a snack bar & grill for those fast foods & snacks. We have a natural sandy beach with a large sun deck, bonfires, water trampolines, climbing mountain, Kayaks, paddle boats, pontoons, boats & motors.

North Star Inn & Suites

Conveniently located near the Crystal Airport. Whether you're just stopping through or plan to stay awhile, we have the amenities you need at prices you can afford. We're close to many fine restaurants and retail outlets, including the Mall of America. You can also visit the Chain of Lakes and the Minnesota Sculpture Garden. North Shore Winery

North Shore Winery, established in 2013, offers both red and white wines for tasting and purchase. Under the brand, Sawtooth Mountain Cider House, hard ciders are offered created with a local flair. The winery, located on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, has normal business hours from Noon to 7 p.m. to experience a taste of Lutsen and is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tastings and tours are available during regular business hours - no appointment needed.

The tasting room is open Thursdays from 2-8 p.m., open late for Date Nights.

North Shore Scenic Railroad

Travel back in time and see magnificent views of Lake Superior, the downtown skyline, Duluth's waterfront and the majestic Northwoods from your window seat. Classic engines pull vintage cars on a variety of trips. Each trip originates from the historic Duluth Union Depot and discounted combination tickets are available to "See the Trains...Ride the Trains" at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum.

Enjoy a 1 1/2 hour "Duluth Zephyr" trips to Lester River, a 2 1/2 hour Pizza Train or a Two Harbors Excursion.

North Shore Mountains - Bally Creek Trails

25.0 km trackset. 11.0 km skate-ski. All skill level trails. Part of a 196 km ski-through network along the North Shore. Variety of cedar swamp, balsam and pine forest. Meanders along wildlife pond. Ski 17.6km from Bally Creek to Cascade State Park. Maps along trail. MN Ski pass required.

North Shore Grille

Full service restaurant and lounge overlooking north shore of Lake Bemidji. Scenic golf setting at Bemidji Town and Country Club.
