We’re inviting all classic rides - from 1930s coupes to early 2000s muscle cars - to roll through and show off. No registration, no judging, no trophies—just a relaxed day of great cars, great beer and a great community.

Bring your friends (the furry ones too!) and help us celebrate the amazing partnerships of assistance dogs and the people who need them. This outdoor, family-fun event includes a one-mile fundraising walk, live music, a dog costume contest, an assistance dog demonstration, dog-centric vendors, and more. Individuals can register at www.candocanines.org/woofaroo on their own or as part of a team, and everyone is encouraged to collect pledges and donations toward this fundraiser.

Genealogy Zoom class: Using Timelines in Your Research

Looking for ways to expand and enhance your family history? The History Center of Olmsted County, in partnership with the Olmsted County Genealogy Society, is hosting a Zoom class with genealogy expert Lois Abromitis on Thursday, August 14 at 7 pm. This class will teach you how to use timelines for your research. This special event is $15 for HCOC members and $20 for non-members. Included in the price are two additional sessions of your choice with the Olmsted County Genealogy Society.
