Lake Minnetonka/Mound Polar Plunge

The Mound Polar Plunge will be taking place on January 31, 2026, at Surfside Park. The Plunge is organized by Special Olympics Minnesota. Community members are encouraged to sign themselves, friends, family, and co-workers up to brave the Plunge. Eden Prairie Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge is the biggest fundraiser for Special Olympics Minnesota. All funds raised by Plungers help Special Olympics Minnesota provide year-round training and services to thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities across the state. The Polar Plunge is presented by the Law Enforcement Torch Run, a movement of volunteers dedicated to increasing awareness and funds for Special Olympics Minnesota athletes across the state.

Duluth Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunges are annual events organized by Special Olympics Minnesota; an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities. Plunge participation helps make a significant difference in supporting these athletes. Those who fundraise for their Polar Plunge get the chance to jump into a lake. If you fundraise, you are not required to jump. The event is open to the public to cheer on and support plungers! Volunteers are welcome!

Saintly City Cat Club Annual Championship Cat Show

More than 200 cats from the United States and Canada will compete for the title of Best Cat at the 49th Annual Saintly City Cat Club Annual Championship Cat Show at Saint Paul RiverCentre January 24-25, 2026.

The show will be held at the Saint Paul RiverCentre complex and in Roy Wilkins Auditorium Exhibition Hall (lower level). It will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 25.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children under 10 and seniors over 65.
