Salsa in the Street

It’s the last Street Dance of the Summer and this one’s going to be HOT! Downtown Third Street will be twisting and vibing to the sounds of LIVE Latin music at the much-anticipated fall dance “Salsa In The Street!” On Friday, September 19 from 6-11 pm, the community is invited to a free dance party thrown by River City Ballroom Dancers/Breitlow Ballroom. April Dahl will teach a beginning Salsa lesson from 6-7 pm, Salsa del Soul will provide LIVE Latin music from 7-9 pm.

Ghosts of Anoka Walking Tour

Stories abound in Anoka of odd happenings and eerie encounters. Our costumed tour guides will take you on a walk through historic neighborhoods of Anoka, sharing stories of the past along the way. Sixty percent history, 40 percent folklore; these stories are just part of the fun you will experience on your Ghosts of Anoka tour!

Public tours available Sept 5 through October 31. Private tours organized upon request.

Farm-to-Table Dinner

Ramsey County Historical Society members get a taste of the farm as we bid adieu to summer. A delicious three course dinner is provided by Chef Weston Smith and Chef Catherine Olsen with courses dedicated to a harvest directly from the Gibbs Farm garden.

Guests will be able to enjoy a happy hour with complimentary wine and beer in the courtyard with music provided by Chris Koza, followed by a staff-guided tour of Gibbs Farm.
