Bicolor Whisk Broom Class

Come learn a hand whisk pattern! In this class, we will be focusing on techniques to switch colors as we wrap our broom handles. Choose from a rainbow of string colors, master the foot bobbin, and learn how tension can be your friend. Everyone will have the opportunity to make one or two brooms, exploring how small changes can alter the character of their pieces. Instructed by Rebi Hulme of Rooted Apricity.

Bakken Museum Book Club

Join us at The Bakken Museum for a book club unlike any other. Bring the pages of George Estrichs’s Fables and Futures to life through rare books and historic artifacts presented by our curators. "Living in the Disconnect" Artist Reception and Artist Talk

Rochester based artist Jessalyn Finch presents "Living in the Disconnect", an exhibition of large-scale charcoal drawings and mixed media sculpture, which explore themes of body dysmorphia, self- perception, and body memory. Finch will be unveiling new installation techniques, and her largest cardboard sculpture yet. Reception & Artist Talk: Friday, April 4, 2025 | 5 – 7 pm Artist talk 6pm light refreshments
