The Belfast Cowboys

The Belfast Cowboys is a nine-piece, horn-driven band from Minneapolis that specializes in the music of Van Morrison. Entering their third decade, they are adept at mixing rock, blues, roots and soul sounds. Led by veteran songwriter/guitarist Terry Walsh, the Cowboys have flourished in the renowned Minnesota music scene. They have consistently packed houses and wowed crowds since 2002.

American Indian Month Kick-off Parade & Powwow

Due to the tragic shootings of the last 48 hours in the Indigenous community in Minneapolis, todays’ American Indian parade, IHB groundbreaking celebration, and pow wow at the Minneapolis Indian Center have all been cancelled. 

Instead, a traditional prayer service will be held at the Cedar fields located on Cedar Ave between 25th and 26th Streets in Minneapolis (near Little Earth housing) at 10:00 am.

Organized by the Metropolitan Urban Indian Directors (MUID).

MSUM Celebration of Nations

Celebrations of Nations is an annual event at MSUM where international students set up vibrant booths showcasing their art, clothing, and rich cultural heritage.

This is a family-friendly, multicultural event that includes international cuisine, cultural displays, arts and crafts, and live music and entertainment by student groups and the local community. More than 30 countries will be represented.
