PNC Women Run the Cities

When we run as women, we don’t just move forward. We bring the energy. We defy the cliché. We question the expected. Miles don’t matter—it’s the feeling that counts. Whether it’s high-fiving a new mom as she crosses the finish line or cheering along a friend you met on the course, the power we generate is bigger than any runner’s high. It’s the power to redraw the map, and fuel us past any finish line, together. So join us and find your place with people who make you bloom.

Women.

We run the cities.

Nunnabove

Feel the rhythm of summer with NUNNABOVE, the sibling band many hail as “the next generation of Minneapolis sound.” This group fearlessly blends alternative pop with funk, soul, and rock influences. Here, they deliver fresh energy, standout vocals, and genre-defying talent to every stage.

America's 250th Genealogy Series: All Kinds of Loyalists

As part of the upcoming Semiquincentennial (250th) anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, we are offering an "America 250 Genealogy" series to help you uncover your family's history. The series can be taken as a whole, or in individual sections. We will focus on different aspects of genealogy research and provide workshops where you can visit the museum to get help when and where needed. This series is in partnership with the Dakota County Historical Society, the Minnesota Genealogical Society, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The Wizard of Oz

It’s not every day that a wild tornado whizzes right over your head, taking the house and the whole farm with it! Or that the entire world magically shifts from black and white to technicolor right before your very eyes. But there’s nothing everyday about a shoe-obsessed witch, flying monkeys, or a yellow brick road, either. Join Dorothy, her three oh-so-curious friends, and Toto (played by a real dog!) in this grand spectacle, featuring songs you know and love from the classic film!

Bring your binoculars and field guides, and join like-minded birdwatchers for informal walks along Forest History Center trails to discover and enjoy warblers and many other birds returning from their southern wintering grounds. Warbler Walks are for birders of any skill level. This year, we will have special guest leaders for some of our walks.
