Wintermoon Summersun Adventures for Women

An environmentally friendly women's adventure retreat lodge featuring dogsledding and sea kayaking in northeastern MN. A 400 acre Finnish homestead with log cabins, sauna, solar power, hand pump for well water, organic meals and wildlife, birds and quiet. The goal of our mushing and kayaking week ends is to teach and practice outdoor skills in a rejuvenating, fun and supportive atmosphere.

Winona Tour Boat

This is a narrated tour that not only entertains but educates about the famed waterway and the history of Winona and its relation to the Mississippi River. Bring your camera and your binoculars to catch all the wildlife…
Eagles of all ages, turtles, deer, beavers, ducks, just to name some of the things we often view.
Tour schedules: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,at 6 pm
Saturday and Sundays at 2 pm

Winona State University

Winona State University is located in Winona, Minnesota, a picturesque river town on the banks of the Mississippi River in Southeastern Minnesota. The University's park-like setting refreshes the body, mind and spirit. The campus grounds are home to every tree native to Minnesota (and many more), two fountains, gardens and artwork. WSU's state of the art Library and Science Laboratory Center are open to the public and a must to see.

Winona Ice Climbing Park

The outdoor recreation world is abuzz over the new ice climbing wall in Winona, which cascades hundreds of feet down the bluffs to create one of the country’s premiere climbing opportunities. The park was created through collaboration between climbing enthusiasts, the Winona State University Outdoor Recreation Center, and the City of Winona, and the free attraction is expected to draw climbers from across the Midwest and beyond.
