Winona Ice Climbing Park

The outdoor recreation world is abuzz over the new ice climbing wall in Winona, which cascades hundreds of feet down the bluffs to create one of the country’s premiere climbing opportunities. The park was created through collaboration between climbing enthusiasts, the Winona State University Outdoor Recreation Center, and the City of Winona, and the free attraction is expected to draw climbers from across the Midwest and beyond.

Winona Arts Center

The Winona Art Center has a rich history dating back to 1963 and continues to be operated as a community member-owned and run art center. The WAC is a creative network committed to increasing community awareness of the arts by featuring the work of local and regional artists, providing an intimate and unique space for performances and exhibits and encouraging public participation by providing classes and workshops for children and adults.

Lake Winnie offers excellent fishing opportunities for walleye, perch and musky. It is one of Minnesota's premier fisheries. Boating on this 67,000-acre lake is also very popular.
Many hiking and biking trails meander around the lake and its 141 miles of shoreline. Hunting areas can be found in the surrounding forest.

Winnebago Area Museum

Artifact displays of the three Prehistoric Indian cultures who lived in the area; displays of pioneer life for the four surrounding townships and Winnebago history. Large files of family, cemetery and genealogy records for surrounding area.
