Tis’ the season to eat Lutefisk & Meatballs and embrace your Scandinavian Heritage or experience a tradition that is decades old. Faith Lutheran Church of Spicer hosts the first Lutefisk Dinner of the season in the area!

Spikin' in the Street

Get ready to dig, spike, and dive at the 3rd Annual New Ulm Spikin' in the Street Sand Volleyball Tournament - right in the heart of our historic downtown! On August 1-2, 2025, the streets of New Ulm will be transformed into a thrilling beach volleyball arena, where teams from all over the region will compete for glory and bragging rights.

The Works Museum’s annual STEM event for girls and their families, She Engineers features projects, activities, demonstrations, and conversations with STEM role models. The She Engineers program inspires girls to explore STEM fields and build the future together.

Habitat For Humanity Pickers Paradise

Pickers Paradise Spring Vendor Show 2024, hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Redwood River in Marshall, Minnesota. This event takes place on Saturday, April 27, from 9 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday, April 28, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Red Baron Arena and Expo, located at 1651 Victory Dr., Marshall, MN.

Verse Like Water: the visiting poet program of Central Lakes College

As we begin year 12, Verse Like Water presents Ilya Kaminksy (Odessa Ukraine), Valzhyna Mort (Belarus), and Nikola Madzirov (Macedonia) on September 27th, at noon in the CLC Chalberg Theater. These stars of the international poetry scene are dear friends, and through reading and conversation they will help Verse Like Water grow poetry, and give us all insight and perspectives about a troubled and war-torn region of the world: Eastern Europe. Sponsored by the CLC Foundation, The Minnesota State Arts Board, Minnesota Public Radio, and the Olseth Family Foundation.
