William Sauntry Mansion

The William Sauntry Mansion has been fully restored and guests experience modern comforts, combined with the nostalgia of Victorian splendor. Amenities in all rooms include private bath with double whirlpool, fireplaces and air conditioning, cd sound systems, and king or queen beds. Additionally, Tylo Swedish steam showers (Madame LaFuegy & Joseph Room), free wireless internet, and TV/game room represent our attempt to merge the historical splendor of the Sauntry Mansion with the 21st Century.

William O’Brien State Park sits on the beautiful St. Croix River and is the perfect getaway to enjoy the outdoors. Hiking trails offer quiet exploration of the park's rolling, wooded hills. For anglers, the channels of the St. Croix have northerns, walleye, bass and trout. Ideal for canoeing, the river is also a migratory pathway that offers visitors an exciting diversity of sights and sounds. There are plenty of opportunities to stay overnight, with 124 campsites, 4 group camps, and 4 camper cabins.

We rent Bicycles and will even deliver them to your motel or hotel. We also rent canoes and kayaks. We have group rates and will deliver bicycles to your starting point.
