Swedish Language Camp

Travel to Sweden for a day with this fun and interactive language camp! Campers will have fun expanding their Swedish skills while exploring the customs and cultures of different regions of Sweden through games, crafts, and music. ASI educators embed Swedish language instruction in activities throughout the day. Designed for beginning Swedish learners and suitable for ages 6–10.

Campers must bring their lunch and water bottle, and wear clothes appropriate for the outdoors and crafts. Advanced registration is required and closes three weeks before the camp start date.

Summer Lawn Party

Join ASI for an evening of fun and sun on the Lawn! With food, games, and dancing music by Slovczech and the Open Eye Theatre Driveway Tour, there will be something for all ages to enjoy. Registration includes museum admission.

The Sax-Zim Bog has an incredibly diverse spider community, with August being one of the best times to experience spiders. Join us to learn more about these amazing creatures with Larry Weber, author of not 1, but 2 spider based field guides and references. The afternoon will feature a talk, followed by a short walk to showcase what spider diversity is right out your front door!

SheRides Women's Mountain Bike Clinic

SheRides is a women’s-only mountain bike clinic in Lutsen, Minnesota hosted every spring. The clinic was founded by the Superior Cycling Association to help women improve their singletrack skills in a fun, supportive environment. Women of all ages and skill levels up to intermediate are encouraged to participate. This year's clinic takes place June 13-15, 2025

Are you ready to rock? The Wirth Center presents the 18th season of the School of Rock camp and concert! Teens from 6th to 12th grade combine their talents in a two-week camp while being mentored by local professional musicians, then showcase their accomplishments in an energetic and exciting concert featuring a wide variety of hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. Plant Camp: Exploring Place Through Plants

Create with and learn about plants through art, storytelling, and outdoor exploration in this one-day camp for youth ages 9–13. Campers will explore plants from both Minnesotan and Swedish landscapes, learning about their uses in art as well as in the kitchen! While not the focus of this camp, students will also encounter some Swedish language learning embedded in the day’s activities. No prior Swedish language experience needed.

Pedal Prior

Come explore Prior Lake and Scott County during the PedalPrior bike event! With three paved routes and a new gravel route, we have something for everyone.
