The 47th Annual Wabasha Riverboat Days Parade presented by the Wabasha Rotary Club

The pinnacle event of Riverboat Days since 1978 is back and bigger than ever! Join us for the 47th Annual Wabasha Riverboat Days Grand Parade presented by Wabasha Rotary Club, where the streets of Wabasha come alive with colorful floats, lively music, local organizations, and plenty of hometown spirit!From music and dance teams to classic cars and community groups, this must-see parade is a highlight of the summer and a celebration of everything that makes Wabasha special.

Cinnamon Bun Day

Gammelgården Museum of Scandia, along with the Scandia-Marine Lions and City of Scandia, will be passing out free mini-cinnamon buns at the corner of Olinda Trail and Oakhill Road in celebration of the 43rd anniversary of Cinnamon Bun Day.

This is at the corner of Elim Lutheran Church, the cemetery, Scandia Merchantile, and Apothecary’s Daughter.

Representatives from each group will be at the corners to pass out the treats. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is a great opportunity to purchase lovely pre-owned Swedish glass, ceramics, linens, metal, jewelry, and holiday items.

Vendors who have Swedish items in good to excellent condition are welcome to sell at the Second-Hand Swedish Sale. Gammelgården also welcomes individuals to donate Swedish items. All proceeds will support Gammelgården’s programming.

Minnesota Moms Fishing Challenge

Let’s get reel, moms! Join the Minnesota Moms Fishing Challenge, a free virtual fishing challenge just for moms in Minnesota during Take a Mom Fishing Weekend, May 10-11. The challenge is hosted by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Student Angler Organization and Women Anglers of Minnesota. 

This year, like every year on Mother’s Day weekend, all moms across Minnesota can fish for free without a license. And for the third year in a row, moms who want even more fun can take part in the online Minnesota Moms Fishing Challenge!
