Ponderosa Campground

Pomme de Terre Golf Course

The Pomme de Terre Golf Course was established in 1923 as a nine hole course. In April 2006, it was purchased by local businessmen in order to keep it going and the course was restored and renovated. The course opened again in September 2007 as an expanded 18 hole course. It also has a beautiful new 3,500 square foot clubhouse with a fully stocked pro-shop and snack bar.

Polley's Resort

Polley's has been family owned and operated since 1941. Owner Tod Polley has kept the old world charm of this resort. Its cabins are homey and reflect the way vacationing on Lake Vermilion has been done since the 50's. Tod has created a home away from home for guests and friends alike. Come in and check out the history on the shelves and hanging from the ceiling in the store. You won't find a place like this anywhere on the lake. Located in Wake-Em-Up-Narrows, Polley's is a fully equipped resort.

County history, agriculture exhibits, farm machinery, pioneer exhibits, 1876 log house, 1892 frame house, genealogical research center. Farmers Market June through October.

Kashubian Cultural Institute & Polish Museum

The Polish Cultural Institute of Winona, known as the Polish Museum, was founded and organized in 1976. It is a reflection of the Polish heritage that pervades the Winona area. Its purpose is the collection and maintenance of incredible artifacts (cherished photos, family histories, and other one of a kind treasures).

Polaris Experience Center & Factory Tour

Polaris was founded in the small Minnesota town of Roseau. Located just south of the Canadian border. Roseau is home to one of the Polaris facilities that handle Snowmobile and ATV production, plastics manufacturing, aspects of engineering and product testing. One of the main attractions in this community know for snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and hockey isn’t just a museum. Instead, the 5,600-square-foot Polaris Experience Center is a self-guided tour, of sorts, through the history of the company that’s been an integral part of life in Roseau for more than 60 years.
