HISTORY of the THEATRE:
In 1930 the original Pine Theatre was built on Main Street, where the Band Shell Park currently sits. In the winter of 1949 a fire burned down the Theatre and consumed three other buildings on the corner of Main and 2nd Street, formerly known as White Street.
