Spoon and Stable

Spoon and Stable is a restaurant located in what was once a horse stable, dating back to 1906, in the heart of the North Loop Neighborhood. It is the dream of Chef/Owner Gavin Kaysen, a James Beard award-winning chef to bring his talents back home to Minneapolis, where he grew up. The cuisine is focused on the seasonality of the Midwest, the roots of the local culture and technically inspired by the French cuisine for which Gavin Kaysen is known.

50+ varieties of crisp MN apples, delicious pies and bakery treats starting August 15. Pick-your-own apples (8/15-11/15), orchard wagon rides, petting zoos, corn maze, applewood BBQ. Spokes Bike and Ice Cream Shop

SPOKES provides a full service repair shop along with a delicious super premium ice cream cone or shake. Located in St. Boni a couple blocks off of the Dakota Line Bike Trail. We also offer SUP/Kayak rental for the nearby beautiful Lake Waconia!

Split Rock Lighthouse

Shipwrecks from a mighty 1905 November gale prompted this rugged landmark's construction. Completed by the U.S. Lighthouse Service in 1910, Split Rock Light Station soon became one of Minnesota's best known landmarks. Restored to its 1920s appearance, the light station offers a glimpse of lighthouse life in this remote and spectacular setting.

Split Rock Lighthouse is a National Historic Landmark.

Split Rock Creek State Park

One of the most popular recreation sites in Pipestone County. Created in 1938 by the construction of a dam on Split Rock Creek, the lake contains sunfish, walleye, perch, bass, and northern. During the summer an excellent swimming beach, picnic ground, and campground provide enjoyable outings for southwestern Minnesota residents as well as vacationers. Be sure to stop by the Prairie Hill for an excellent vista. 4.5 miles of hiking trails; boat, paddleboat, and canoe rental. Just north of the park is the famous Pipestone National Monument.
