A fun event full of family friendly activities in the logging camp and the museum. Many hands-on activities in the logging camp will get families moving and create some lasting memories. It is also a great time to interact with interpreters and have fun while learning.
Experience Rivertown Days
Join Trivia Mafia for a night of Minnesota themed trivia to put your knowledge to the test. Fewer than eight people recommended per team. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks will be available for purchase.
Free Minnesota History Center admission and parking runs every Thursday from 4:00-8:00 pm. Trivia will take place in the Heffelfinger Room on the first floor from 6:30-8:00 pm. No registration required.

Soul of the Southside is a free, family-friendly Juneteenth celebration in South Minneapolis honoring Black liberation through music, art, food, and community. Held at E. Lake St. & Minnehaha Ave., it features live performances, Black-owned vendors, murals, wellness, and kids' activities across beloved venues like Hook and Ladder, Arbeiter, Moon Palace, Solcana, and the Coliseum. Presented by The Legacy Building.
