Sands Country Cove Campground
Sands country cove campground has 38 sites with full hookups plus 1 cabin that sleeps 4. The sites are large so that we can accommodate all sizes of campers. There is a gathering and game room everyone to use and enjoy. It is located on the west side of Kansas Lake in Watonwan County. The main fish in the lake are walleye and northern pike.

Sand Pine Pheasants is a hunting preserve located northwest of St. Cloud, MN just off of Interstate 94; approximately one hour and 20 minutes from the Metrodome. Hunt Pheasants, Chuckers and Quail. We offer field hunts and now a European Hunt. Guides available for on preserve hunts only. Stop in and enjoy the hunting and fellowship experience!

The 700 acres of Sand Prairie Wildlife Management and Environmental Education Area encompass two major wetland restorations, a tract of restored prairie, native prairie brushland, and woods. Beavers, sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans white-tailed deer, fox, green herons, sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans, American woodcock, blue-winged teal, and a variety of warblers are just a few of the wildlife species that can be seen from the observation deck and along the prairie trails.
