Omnifest

Few places can tell a story quite like the Science Museum’s Omnitheater. With five different features running back-to-back daily, Omnifest is a celebration of the biggest screen in town.

Oceans: Our Blue Planet

Featured as part of the Science Museum’s Omnifest, Oceans: Our Blue Planet takes explorers on a global odyssey to discover the depths of the sea and the colorful life teeming within it. From the coastal shallows to deeper, more mysterious worlds, this giant-screen journey reveals the untold stories of the oceans’ most astonishing creatures.

Lost in Space: A Stellar Tours Adventure

Explore the furthest reaches of the universe in Lost in Space: A Stellar Tours Adventure, featured as part of the Science Museum’s Omnifest. Using the Omnitheater’s state-of-the-art Digistar 7 projection system, this live digital telescope show lets audiences take the thrusters on a celestial expedition, searching for signs of life in the cosmos.

More than a planetarium show, different than a movie and with real-time images from space, Lost in Space: A Stellar Tours Adventure gives audiences a rare glimpse at some of the brightest bodies in our universe.

Into America’s Wild

Our curiosity moves us forward into the unknown, where a vast and beautiful wilderness is waiting to be discovered. In this large-screen expedition, find out what it means to be at home in the wild. Guiding the journey are three trailblazers — Chickasaw astronaut John Herrington, Alaskan bush pilot and youth advocate Ariel Tweto, and long-distance hiker Jennifer Pharr Davis — who share a passion for connecting people to experiences in the wild.
